Abstract

In order to improve understanding of the risks of cardiovascular disease at low doses we undertook to: - Design an epidemiological study of cardiac diseases among survivors of childhood cancer. - Investigate the action of low doses and low dose rates on the heart and vessels. - Conduct a search for biological markers of low dose effects on heart. - Evolve mathematical procedures to better describe the dose response relationship.
