    Abstract

The O.R. (observed ratio) values for grass and milk, as obtained under natural conditions from 1959 to 1962, are presented and discussed. Statistical analysis shows that the differences in the mean O.R. for 1961 on the one hand, and for 1959 and 1962 on the other hand, are significant for the treshold P(0,02). The mean value for the O.R. in all places during the same period was 0,04. Of the various hypotheses which could explain such such a low value, the author limits himself to a discussion of the possible influence of additional fodder during the summer months, and the possible contribution of the bovine skeleton to the Ca and Sr content of the milk?-.
