This report summerizes the work on Monte Carlo study on the Partial Defect Tester, which is a non destructive assay to perform safeguards inspections on spent nuclear fuel.
The Monte Carlo model is explained together with computational tools used in data analysis.
The results obtained in the simulations are also presented with focus on the influence in the fuel assembly in the storage rack and few diversion scenarios.
