Abstract

Antimony and arsenic fission products were Isolated by a fast radiochemicaI procedure and their activity measured by neutron counting. The whole process was performed automaticalIy and the time between end of irradiation and beginning of counting varied between 2 s and 7 s. A 2.2 ± 0.2 s half-life was observed and attributed to As.
