Abstract

This special issue contains seven approaches to different stages in systems suject to fuzzy uncertainty, offering as an overview of several issues, from basic linguistic modelling to data analysis and final human decision making. It covers new information theory and techniques such as fuzzy logic, lattice theory, decision theory, formal concept analysis, rough set theory, game theory, time series analysis, and linguistic representations and processing tools.
