    Abstract

Based on practical experience, some recommendations are presented which may be useful when ordering samples for nuclear measurements. These recommendations are illustrated with a few examples. Also the influences of the fabrication and assaying methods on the sample characteristics and their accuracy are discussed from users' point of view.
