Abstract

In the framework of the EVEDA phase of IFMIF, it has been decided to implement a start-up module in the Target & Test Cells. This module comes in the place of the high flux test module during commissioning and start-up phase of IFMIF to measure and benchmark irradiation parameters, as the HFTM is intended to contain as little instrumentation as possible (the volume is reserved to irradiate material samples, not sensors). The goals and the current development status of this module (as it is in September 2010) are presented during the IFMIF 3rd Workshop in Madrid.
