Abstract
ELENCO NV, a Belgian-Dutch joint venture, started its activities in 1976, focusing on alkaline hydrogen-air fuel cells. The paper describes the status of the technical development after a period of 8 years, discussing electrodes, stacks, performance levels, test experience and applications. Present activities and further plants are described in short.
