    Abstract

Our observations support the idea that Zn-DTPA chelates 241Am that is released in the circulation and that Zn-DTPA is not able to remove any 241Am fixed in the skeleton. Even shortly after 241Am injection, 241Am is firmly bound in the mouse femur and is not removed by Zn-DTPA.
