Abstract

Our observations support the idea that Zn-DTPA chelates ²⁴¹Am that is released in the circulation and that Zn-DTPA is not able to remove any ²⁴¹Am fixed in the skeleton. Even shortly after ²⁴¹Am injection, ²⁴¹Am is firmly bound in the mouse femur and is not removed by Zn-DTPA.
