Abstract

The energy levels of ⁵³Fe are re-investigated in the framework of the 1f_{7 2} shell using various effective nucleon-nucleon interactions. The agreement between experiment and calculations is satisfactory and does not strongly depend on the details of the effective interactions adopted.
