Abstract
A measurement of the low energy part (0.28-1.8 MeV) of the fission neutron spectrum of U235 by means of Ilford L4 emulsion is described. The experimental arrangement allows the elimination of the depth measurements, which are a source of errors. The results fit a Maxwellian spectrum with energy parameter 1.20 ± 0.10 MeV.
