Abstract
Efficient commissioning and successful operation of ITER require an extensive and reliable set of magnetic diagnostics, which is to be provided as a EURATOM contribution via in-kind procurement through Fusion for Energy. This paper presents the multiple set of requirements for the ITER magnetic diagnostic systems and the current status of the various R&D activities performed by the EU partners.
