Abstract

A survey is given of the different Chemical products quoted in the literature as compounds enhancing radiation inactivation of bacteria. These compounds are oxygen, vitamin K 5 and its analogues, N-ethyI maIeimide, alkali halides, halogenophenoIs and iodoacetamide. The possible technoIogicaI importance of radiosensitizers is discussed.
