Abstract
A new method for growing uranium dioxide single crystals from the vapour is described. Crystals from 4 to 12 mm in size, and up to 5 g in weight are easily obtained. Control by Laue diffraction patterns and chemical analysis showed these crystals to be of high perfection and purity.
