Abstract
The substructure of ordered CuPt has been examined by transmission electron microscopy. Ordering twins and anti-phase boundaries have been observed and a crystallographic analysis is made. For both the twin planes and the displacement vector of the anti-phase boundaries, the results are in agreement with the proposed structural model. Some predictions about the peculiarities of the dislocation structure in CuPt are deduced from the model.
