    Abstract

Paper presents the first results of the measurements of deuterium retention in W-Ta alloys, exposed to high ion flux plasma (regime relevant for fusion reactor divertor). Two grades were investigating, containing 1 and 5 mass percent of tantalum. Retention measurements were performed using the technique of thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS). Simulations using diffusion code TMAP7 were perfomed, trapping energy of the predominant trapping sites in the investigated alloys was estimated.
