Thermopower in amorphous As₂Se₃

Abstract

In the temperature range from 120 to 200°C the thermopower of amorphous As₂Se₃ varies as S = (k/e) (E_S/kT+B) with B = -7.08 and E_S = 1.01 ± 0.05 eV, which is the same activation energy as the one obtained from the conductivity curve.
